Do you ever notice bra marks digging into your skin when you get undressed at the end of the day? A poorly fitting bra can be uncomfortable, and it may be time to replace it. But the problem may not really be your bra’s fault. If your body has changed over time or you’ve put on some weight, bras that used to fit may now be contributing to “bra bulge.”
We’re here to save you some money. Rather than running to the store to replace your bras, consider adding just the right workout to your routine to tone the muscles in this area.
The best part? You don’t need to sign up for gym classes to achieve results. Jacob Siwicki, founder and head coach of Siwicki Fitness, NCSF and AFAA certified, former top 1% globally ranked Equinox group fitness instructor (2019), Dartmouth economics graduate and former Dartmouth football player, fitness expert on FOX 5 DC, suggests getting started with four wall exercises that can help strengthen this part of the body after 60.
“The routine someone actually does consistently is the one that works. These exercises can build muscle and improve posture—they cannot pick exactly where body fat comes off. Changing the appearance of back fat also takes overall exercise and work in the kitchen,” Siwicki stresses.
Now, let’s dive in.
